Florida's quarterback Tim Tebow, despite not having the stats Sam Bradford has, is in my opinion more deserving of the award simply for his unselfishness and ability to lead his team. “I’ve had some great players, and I’ve got some great players on this team,” Florida coach Urban Meyer said. “But I’ve never had one like this. Tim’s got something special inside him. I’m not talking about throwing. I’m not talking about running. I’m talking about making everyone around him better. That fourth quarter was vintage Tim Tebow.” Even Alabama coach Nick Saban had nothing but praise for him after having their undefeated season ruined.
He’s a great competitor. He takes his teammates on his shoulders a lot. They have a lot of confidence he’s going to make plays, and they play that way. They scored two touchdowns where we had them covered about as well as we could cover them. Every time [Florida] needed to make a play, Tim Tebow made a play.On the other hand, Sam Bradford has thrown 48 touchdown passes, more than any quarterback this season and led his team to five consecutive 60 point games a feat never seen before in NCAA football. The matchup of these two teams will most definitely be the biggest game of the season. I'm most certain the game will be a nightmare for defensive coordinators on both teams. Hopefully this game will be much better than the OU-Tech game, I'm sure if Tim Tebow has anything to do with it, Florida will put up quite a fight against Oklahoma.

Its almost as if you believe OU are the favored team. They may be number one in the BCS, but I am almost positive that Florida will be in favor when the spreads are out (if they arent already).
OU also has put up a tremendous amount of points while keeping its first string in for a large amount of the game, even when they are blowouts. You dont pass for 42 touchdowns and have the margin of victory that OU has had for a majority of the season without raising eyebrows.
However, I can only hope that Oklahoma doesnt keel over in the BCS as they have done 4 times in a row when in BCS bowls. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bowl_Championship_Series
I expect OU to be favored, I haven't checked the spreads but regardless their last five games have been ridiculous. I want Florida to win though, and believe they have a real shot at winning with Percy Harvin being healthy. Even if he isn't at his best, Tebow seems to have a leadership quality that almost no other quarterback this season can touch.
I also agree with cablebfg about Florida being favored more. With Tim Tebow as quarterback, I think their offense is more productive and more efficient compared to OU's offense, but both are very good. I can't wait to see this match-up in January, I'm pulling for the Gators.
I will take this in another direction and say that I can't believe USC's one loss had that much impact on where they stood in the BCS. They could beat any team in the top five, and would if they were given the chance. It is sad that a team superior of the two in the national championship won't get a chance to show it for the title, instead they get to beat up on Penn State.
